The episode was about Kate. So far this year, each episode has focused on one particular charachter and this week was Kate's turn.
I have to admit that, once again, I came away scratching my head at a few parts and trying to decipher what is really going on. But, that is what the draw of LOST is for me. There are so many unknowns and so many possible twist.
Back to Kate ....
1. Kate cut a deal with Miles (Locke's prisoner) to find out what he knows about her. She gives him one minute with Ben. Miles tries to extort 3.2 million from Ben and Miles reveals to Kate that he knows everything.
2. Kate gets bannised from the 'camp' because of what she did. Locke is "running" the show. In the meantime, Kate goes and spends one last night with Sawyer and we find out (at least we think) that Kate is not pregnant and can't be.
3. Kate has a flashforward where we see her getting out of her prison sentence by taking probation. Her mother does not testify, Jack is a charachter witness. They meet briefly afterwards and Kate says that they can not go out or meet till Jack sees Aaron.
Jack / Kate / Aaron ....
Okay, so we are led to believe that Aaron is Claire's baby. Now this brings alot of questions:
- Why does Kate have the baby ?
- Why will Jack not see the baby ?
- Are Jack and Claire half-brother / half sister ?
- What about Claire's pysic (seasons back) about her needing to raise the baby
Desmond & Sawyer
At the survivors camp, they have the individuals contact the freighter and when they do; they realize that the helicopter did not reach them. The helicopter and Desmond are going to be the focus of next week ( this thursday) episode.
Locke

The Crash
Jack states that the crash only had 8 survivors and 2 of them died to get to the Oceanic 6 and that Kate was responsible for the survivors.
I am really curious to why this is the tory. This also brings out numerous questions:
Why do the "6" stick to this story ?
Where are the individuals who rescued them with their story ?
I have no clue. I need to read some details.
Next week, we see the plane and learn more about Desmond.

WHAT IS THIS SHOW REALLY ABOUT!!!! I am so confused. But of course I am also completely hooked.
My spin:
Ben was spoofing Dharma and pretending that their stuff was still on the island. They found out, got mad, and are looking for him. Eventually he's forced off the island by the boat people, as well as the "six."
Why six? Because in the end so many decide to stay. The island has become their home... Rose/Bernard had an episode like this. I also think the next person we'll see is Michael as a "sixer." He's the one in the casket.
I also think Claire gets in the helicopter, but then something happens to her. An accident? Kate's involved? So out of responsibility Kate takes on Aaron.
Ben is holding this over Sayid's head. This is why Sayid is working for him - to stop Ben from blabbing. So Ben is using him to take out the Dharma people so Ben can go back to the island, take out Locke (who is still there), and regain control.
Then again, maybe it's just a TV show. ;)

Pretty impressive thoughts. I am not sure who it was in the coffin.
At first, I thought that maybe the individual in the coffin was Claire and that is why Kate has Aaron.
I also need to "re-watch" the accident, coffin and timing of that to piece those events together.
