First Sunday in Lent

There will be four scripture readings for the first full week of Lent. They are the following:

- Genesis 3:1-7
- Matthew 4:1-111
- Romans 5:12-19
- Psalms 32

Today's devotional was called "The Truth About the Cross"

I think the best way to sum of the short devotional for today is with this statement: Sin may not instantly shock us, like sticking a finger into a light socket, but eventually we'll reap what we sow when we misuse God's good gifts.
