The Clinton/Obama Ticket

It is finally hitting airways ....

The possibility of a Clinton/Obama ticket.

From Yahoo News

Asked on CBS's "The Early Show" whether she and Obama should be on the same ticket, Clinton said:

"That may be where this is headed, but of course we have to decide who is on the top of ticket. I think the people of Ohio very clearly said that it should be me."

Obama, who had hoped to knock Clinton out on Tuesday, said he would prevail against a tenacious candidate who "just keeps on ticking." Clinton acknowledged the race was close and said it would come down to her credentials on national security and the economy.

Obama, at the present tme, does not want anything to do withthis talk. Here is a brief response/exchange from him:

"We still have an insurmountable lead," Obama said. "We're very confident about where we're going to be and that we can win the nomination and the general election."

The Obama camp believes that they have control of the party and will get the victory.

I think that the Clinton/Obama ticket makes sense. I know the Obama camp and supporters want him as the President. BUT ..... the Clinton/Obama ticket could provide 16 years in the White House ( I know that makes political conservatives cringe ). Also, I think it will help Obama in the long run and in the short run; it may help the D-Party because Clinton is "winning" the big states in the primaries.

But ... I don't know nuttin' about politics.
