Bumper Sticker Theology

There are many people that use bumper stickers as their attempt to spread their theology. Then there are some that make bumper stickers and they just make bad theology.

Many churches probably have the following bumper sticker and at first glance, it may seem harmless and it may be "advertising" their church.

However, I think that it could be the underlying problem with the church in America.

Maybe, I am too harsh *sigh*

There's a time in my life when I would have slapped a bumper sticker advertising my church on the back of my vehicle. I hope there's a time like that again.

Amy:

I bope that you do find a community as well.

I do have a Zion Lutheran sticker on my vehicle.

I just don't like the I'd rather be at church segment.

However, I am glad that their intent is to say that I love my church.

Like I said, it is me being picky :)

I'd rather be in bed naked.

However, I don't advertise it on a bumper sticker.

Oh, did I miss your point?

DP:

I agree with you, I do think that it lacks taste. But, unfortunately, I understand their thought process behind it.
