University of Kentucky To Play in BCS

The Kentucky receiver suggested during the preseason that the Wildcats were not only ready to compete in the SEC East, but also to play in a BCS bowl game. Burton's prognostication was met with laughs, more than anything else.

Well, we ae 5 games into the college fb season and the Wildcats are 5-0. Tonight, they go down to the old ball coaches backyard and play the Gamecock's. The winner of tonights game will be leading the SEC East. Not toom many people would have picked that.

The Wildcats have a long way to go before they can even begin to talk about SEC championship and BCS game. However when Burtn said it in the preseason; everyone laughed. The laughs are subsiding. Of course, after tonight, we will know more.

*** Game Over ***

Well, nice try. too many mistakes Kentucky and Norwood or SC played a great game - 2 TD's for a defensive end. Your D was okay and that is what I was concerned about. Get ready, you have 2 more tough ones; you may be 5-3 and out of the Top 25 in 17 days.

I am excited as well. I remember as a season ticket holder for a few years in the 90's that it was saaaad.

I look forward to tonights game. I have apologized to my kid that for them tonight (after soccer) it is football night with daddy or movie night for them in the next room.

GO CATS !!
