It has been 6 years. I can not believe it has been that long ago. Six years ago, I spent 3 weeks in Africa. I was in Gahna. Ever since then, I have had pulls on my heart strings for Africa.
There are many organizations that are doing wonderful ministries in Africa. Today, I want to highlight one of them. Take a moment and swing by their webiste. You can make a difference.

I love the work that Blood Water Mission does. They are good guys.
A bunch of folks from my church just left today for Uganda, where they will give conferences, meet with local leaders, do some pastor/teacher training, and facilitate a kid's program for the next few weeks. They are also supplying the community with a whole load of stuff. I think the coolest thing about it is that the head of the city they will spend the most time in asked them to tear down an idol in the center of town and replace it with something else. It should be interesting to hear their stories when they get back.
As much as I'm rooting for you to bring your youth to BC, I get you on Africa. It would be life changing.
