I know that there are may who will argue that worship (gathering) is not the place for it.

mrpages:

You are welcome. Hoefully some of the ideas can be passed on. I would love to see the work in progress with you your meetings.Thoughts From Jeffhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11658741692973255432noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1563577408977959863.post-80990331868723585372007-11-08T15:30:00.000-05:002007-11-08T15:30:00.000-05:00Thanks for this. You have some great thoughts, and you cover some ideas that we hadn't considered.

Much appreciated.qaswedfrhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07524765417361902191noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1563577408977959863.post-69824708442740949132007-11-08T12:58:00.000-05:002007-11-08T12:58:00.000-05:00I really like the way you're thinking about this, ...I really like the way you're thinking about this, and the elements you propose seem to me a great way to accomplish the edifying of the Body.Drew Pearcehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10112208107972585200noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1563577408977959863.post-18195824569862773972007-11-08T10:49:00.000-05:002007-11-08T10:49:00.000-05:00Alan:Thanks for the chalenge and the words, I appr...Alan:

Thanks for the chalenge and the words, I appreciate it.

Lew:

In my current context and tradition, I would seperate them. I think that it may be more biblical to include it at the same time though (if that makes sense).

My reason would be to make sure that communion (connection to God) was not lost. I also want to make the meal/fellowship more geared on the relaxed atmosphere and the edification/encouragement.

I could be swayed though but presently; that is my thought.

Grace:

Thanks. The words are greatly appreciative. I also like hearing what others would love to see/have in their gathering.Thoughts From Jeffhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11658741692973255432noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1563577408977959863.post-72332845709566793812007-11-08T10:44:00.000-05:002007-11-08T10:44:00.000-05:00Thanks for sharing this Jeff. Quick question, in this description, would you have the communion separate from the meal? Why or why not?

God's Glory,
Lew

The Pursuit Online StoreLew Ahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01063863370041431635noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1563577408977959863.post-44228529322746209712007-11-07T17:31:00.000-05:002007-11-07T17:31:00.000-05:00Jeff,Great post! I thought you had some good ideas when you wrote your list on my blog. Your further explanation confirms my thoughts! I would also love to see some of these same elements included in a church meeting. Thanks again!

-AlanAlan Knoxhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07452247058550736803noreply@blogger.com
